Virtual Personal Assistant

Job Description:

Personal assistant needed three (3) days per week. Start-up business owner and creative director of women/minority owned footwear company. Actively looking for a great virtual assistant. I would love to find a reliable, detail-oriented personal assistant who appreciates organization, has a hands-on perspective with a knack for problem-solving as well as generally helping out with what’s needed.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Shopping online for home, clothing, and car.

  • Organize all email addresses to be up-to-date and cleared of unnecessary emails.

  •  Schedule activities, brunch/lunch/dinner reservations. 

  • Coordinate travel for business trips (including driver, flight tickets, activities, shuttle, room & board).

  • Assist with planning company events and activities by organizing group invitations (via e-invites, email or group text), RSVP management, goodie bag procurement as well as follow up with sponsors to approve goodie bag items.   

  • Participate in Zoom Meetings when necessary.

This position is REMOTE.

Ideal schedule: M-W, 4-8pm or 5-9pm.

Blogger/Product Description Writer wanted to create entertaining blog posts. These are subject matter that are important to the Shonchelle Shereé brand. For example, women’s rights, female entrepreneur tips, building generational wealth, higher education, as well as makeup tutorials, local activities, perfume reviews, relationship advice, restaurant and album reviews. There’s so much to explore and we believe the right person for the job would be smitten with this opportunity. We want a straightforward, but lighthearted writer that can make the reader feel like you are catching up with a friend. The blog is a safe space for the brand to share their voice about the topics that are important to us and our community. Furthermore, the position includes coming up with descriptive text for products. 

  Duties:

  • Write 2 detailed and fun blog posts during work schedule.

  • Find royalty free photos and videos to accompany each post. 

  • Attend social and networking events as press for the brand (this could be outside of regular work hours, but you will have a 48-hour notice).  

  •  Provide photographer attribution for all photos.

  • Review, edit and revise all text. 

  • Create product descriptions for new products 

  • Occasional travel out of town or locally to blog about the experience. 

  • Research, RSVP and attend social events and activities

Skills

Duties:

  • Prepares proposals by determining concept, gathering and formatting information, writing drafts, and obtaining approvals.

  • Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, studying requests for proposal (RFPs), and attending strategy meetings.

  • Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, and transmittal.

  • Enters and monitors tracking data.

  • Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information, coordinating submissions and collections, and identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals.

  • Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation.

  • Writes, revises, and edits drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials.

  • Prepares presentation by evaluating text, graphics, and binding and coordinating printing.

  • Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases.

  • Obtains approvals by reviewing proposal with owner.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities such as, information webinars about grants, social media lives or videos.

Shonchelle Shereé Inc. is seeking a technical designer and product developer assistant that is enthusiastic about women’s footwear and helping with ideation to sampling stage. 

Duties:

  • Support our Creative Director in the design and development process for all products.

  • Oversee conceptual, digital, and production design work, as well as provide assistance for the production team.

  • Inspire and successfully creating unique and compelling, brand-right products. Create a cohesive product assortment that delivers sales results, is unique, innovative, ahead of market trend and beautiful, while ensuring brand aesthetic and design storytelling is threaded throughout.

  • Analyze new styles and collaborations for viability, cost-effectiveness, long-term line-planning, and competitive advantage to facilitate decision making and timely execution.

  • Create and refine an ecosystem of products on the line plan, building assortment strategies based on seasonality, function, style count and price point.

  • Oversee tracking, management, and shipping of all materials and products.

  • Own and drive critical timelines on projects and balance workload for the design and production team, adhering to calendar and key milestones.

  • Use business and management expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives.

  • Provide creative direction to partners.

  • Assist in the sourcing of raw materials in line with the product/collection briefing.

  • Oversee collating of all raw material information, pricing, MOQ technical sheets.

  • Creating detailed sketches and CAD illustrations to progress designs through the full development and manufacturing process.

  • Ensuring product files are up to date and properly filed.

  • Oversee the tracking of all product samples through the design and development process.

  • Oversee and assist with the creation of technical packs.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience.

  • Incredibly creative and innovative with strong illustration skills. Can create hand sketches and proficient in CAD.

  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Strategic in approach and can think outside-the-box and innovatively at all stages of the creative, design and development process.

  • Problem-solver who can prioritize among multiple and oftentimes competing priorities.

  • Ability to contribute positively to team dynamic, cultivate passion and productivity.

  • Good technical knowledge of footwear.

  • Good organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and strike a balance between creativity and critical thinking.

  • Entrepreneurial, highly motivated self-starter with ability to work collaboratively and independently.

  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
