Shoe Queen: Issa Rae

Jo-issa Diop aka Issa Rae first ran across my t.v. screen when she debut her hit show on HBO, Insecure. I truly connected with all the characters, because I felt like I've encountered them in my life. More than likely, lots of audience members could relate since Insecure is gearing up for season 3 to premiere August 12, 2018.

My most loved character is Issa Rae. Issa and I need a glass of red wine. In her series, she has a host of handsome lovers, ride or die, but sarcastic friends, mahogany tinted natural hair, LA style and large feet. She even mirror gazes and drops gangster rap flows as self-motivation. I dig it. 

Jo-Issa wears a size 11/12. I'm honored she is apart of the queen-size community. Recently, she hosted the CFDA awards and did an awesome job. See video. 

The star of HBO's hit series "Insecure" starts the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards in Partnership with Swarovski at the Brooklyn Museum in New York with a monologue.
